Why VEX?

Skills that travel
far beyond the robot.

Our hands-on VEX Robotics classes for ages 9–16 begin with a robot-building and coding holiday Bootcamp, progress through the Academy, and lead into competition training at Haberdashers' Boys' School in Elstree, Hertfordshire. Every session puts a real robot on the table, with tools in hand rather than worksheets.

Real problem-solving

Every idea becomes a mechanism to build, test and improve — making STEM concepts tangible.

Confidence through iteration

A failed design becomes useful evidence. Learners adapt, explain and try again.

Teamwork with real roles

Builders, coders, drivers and strategists communicate and take responsibility together.

A route into competition

Bootcamp graduates can apply for Competition Club and bring their skills into real team strategy.
